Al Qaeda's heinous and cowardly attack on NYC's Twin Towers and its concomitant murder of over three thousand victims, due to its convergence with the rule of George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, John Ashcroft, Alberto Gonzales, John Bolton, and a Neo-con cast of chickenhawks, achieved successes far beyond Osama's wildest dreams in terms of disrupting, derailing, and discombobulating American Constitutional guarantees, democratic institutions, international prestige, and international trust, AND provided the excuse for the right to carry out its long held dream to "starve the beast" in order to undo a century of American social progress.
